The thunderous clouds have filled the sky
Crashing, clashing, arguments rising
As they bring terror to the children’s eye
The noise gets louder
Like signs of a war
They strike!
Then silence.
A crystal flitters downwards
Dancing a dance never danced before
Daring to mark a new territory
As it sighs and rests on the floor
This crystal is unusual
Its unique pattern fashioned from water
Carried safely by the winds
Treating it like her own daughter
The playful snowflakes fly from the sky
Twirling, twinkling, chattering, laughing
As they bring joy to the children’s eye
And the clouds, their anger had gone
As they look down at their hand-worked creation
The smiles of the children had reflected on them
As they depart, in hope of returning again
